El Nido Tour B Package

Let’s start this El Nido Tour B review by telling you which places you’ll be able to explore when participating in this tour:

Snake Island

Snake Island on El Nido Tour B

Snake Island is a beautiful first stop for your island hopping tour in El Nido and one of my favorite places in the entire Bacuit Bay!

Picture a long sandbank connecting the mainland of Palawan to a small island (Vigan Island) in the bay. From above, the sandbank looks like a meandering snake – thus the name.

You can walk along the beautiful beach and swim in majestically clear and warm water or head to a viewpoint on Vigan Island. The trail is only a five-minute walk uphill, but you’ll get a beautiful view of your surroundings!

Entalula Beach

The next stop on El Nido Tour B will be a beach on Entalula Island. Unfortunately, a large part of the beach is privatized, but the smaller beach next to it is open to the public.

This little beach paradise features powder-white sand, beautiful limestone formations, and a wonderful snorkeling area with plenty of fish and corals!

Cudugnon Cave

Cudugnon Cave

Next, it’s time to head to Cudugnon Cave. First, you’ll stop at a small beach, from where you’ll have to climb through a narrow hole to get inside the cave – pretty adventurous!

Once you’re inside you’ll see the cave is not huge but big enough to walk and climb around in. Plus, the cave is open to the top, so you’ll get natural sunlight, and even a few birds are chirping and flying around!

By the way, Tour B is the only island hopping tour in El Nido that lets you explore the inside of a cave. Therefore, this tour is often being referred to as “The Cave Tour”.

Snorkeling Spot

Plenty of fish at a snorkeling site in El Nido

The last stop on Tour B will be a snorkeling site, where you can explore El Nido’s gorgeous underwater worlds. There are many snorkeling spots in Baquit Bay, so I can’t tell you exactly where you’ll be headed – this depends entirely on your tour guide!

But you should be in for a treat! The corals may not be quite as colorful as in other parts of the world, but I was always fascinated by the amount of fish and sea creatures I could find. There are more than 800 species of fish living in El Nido’s bay and if you’re really lucky, you may even spot a sea turtle!

Insider Tip

El Nido Tour B used to include Pinagbuyutan Island. Unfortunately, this island is now private and closed to tourists, which is why they took it off the El Nido Tour B package. However, if you ask your boatmen kindly, they may agree to include another stop in the area, so you’ll still get to see five spots instead of four!

How Much Does El Nido Tour B Cost?

If you’re traveling Southeast Asia on a budget but don’t want to miss out on seeing the famous islands around Palawan, hopping on El Nido Tour B is one of your best options! The tour costs 1300 PHP (appr. 26 USD), which is slightly cheaper than Tour A and Tour C. However, you should keep in mind that there’s a 200 PHP (appr. 4 USD) EDTF Fee (Eco-Tourism Fee) in place, which amounts to a total price of 1500 PHP (appr. 30 USD).

Also, you should know that these are the costs per head on a group tour. If you book a private tour, which means no one else will be sharing the boat with you, the prices can vary. Usually, booking a private tour only makes sense if you’re traveling with a group of friends or family and you have enough people to fill one boat.

FYI: If you decide to participate in more than one island hopping tour within a 10-day period, you only have to pay EDTF once. Just hold on to your receipt!

Where Can I Book El Nido Tour B?

Island Hopping is the main attraction in El Nido. Therefore, you can book a ticket almost around every corner in town. There are plenty of travel agencies like Art Café, but you can also talk to the boatmen directly.

However, if you prefer to book your ticket online, you can check out GetYourGuide*. Just be aware that the tours are usually more expensive if you book them online, as most booking portals charge a service fee.

Note: You should book your El Nido boat tour at least one day in advance to secure a spot. Also, you should know that you need to bring your ID when booking the tour!

El Nido Tour B Review: Conclusion

El Nido Tour B is one of the most versatile island hopping tours in El Nido, as you won’t only get to swim at beautiful beaches but also hike around an impressive limestone cave and snorkel around the mind-blowing underwater worlds of El Nido!

Therefore, it’s the best El Nido tour package if you like to get active and want to explore different sides of the bay!
